Flower colours a reality?

Orchid flowers present in different colours. The most truthful colours are yellow, pink, orange, violet and white.

When the colour descriptions of solid red and solid blue are used, it is likely to be wishful thinking most of the times.

The blues are usually lighter shades of violet or lavender and the reds are usually dark orange colours.

However a wide range of colours are available currently due to the large scale hybridisation.
